“Almanac of Law”

‘Almanac of Law’ is a scientific and practical legal journal.

‘Almanac of Law’ is a specialist scientific and practical legal periodical published by the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

It was founded in 2010.

The journal is primarily focused on issues of the theory of state and law, philosophy and sociology of law. However, the subject matter presented as a ‘theoretical direction’ or ‘theoretical contribution’ to legal science implies ‘close cooperation’ with specialised legal disciplines, as demonstrated within the pages of the publication.

The high theoretical standard of the scholarly analyses is ensured by the work of a professional editorial board, comprising academicians and corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, academicians and corresponding members of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctors of Law, professors, Honoured Lawyers of Ukraine and Honoured Workers of Science and Technology of Ukraine.

A particular focus of the journal’s sections is on issues relating to the protection of human rights, freedoms and legitimate interests; in particular, it examines the theoretical foundations of the differentiation and specification of rights (such as the rights of specific groups, for example, young people), and explores the means, methods and forms of guaranteeing and safeguarding individual rights.

In accordance with Order No. 1643 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 28 December 2019, the journal has been included in Category ‘B’ of the List of Ukrainian academic journals in the field of legal sciences (081 — Law, 293 — International Law).

Annual. Certificate of State Registration No. 24053-13893 PR dated 31 July 2019. Since 2017, it has been indexed in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus International (Warsaw, Poland).

All articles are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) with the prefix 10.33663.
