Archiving policy

Archiving and long-term open access storage policy, including information about repositories, technical means and guarantees of accessibility.

The founder and editorial board of the scientific and practical journal "Almanac of Law" (hereinafter - the Journal), adhering to the principles of open access and academic integrity of scientific and publishing activities, ensure long-term digital preservation and free access to all published issues of the Journal, using such tools as:

Full-text real-time access to all publications of the Journal is provided through the "Archives" section on the official website of the journal. The archive contains all issues of the Journal without any storage period restrictions. In addition, the Journal stores its metadata and full texts of articles in the depository of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine https://almanaprava.org/

To ensure protection against data loss, the electronic archive of the Journal is transferred for storage to the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine of the NAS of Ukraine http://www.irbis-nbuv.gov.ua

All materials of the Journal are archived in stable electronic formats, ensuring their accessibility, reproducibility and correct citation in the future: metadata and full texts of publications can be indexed in national and international information and scientometric systems.

The Journal backs up its issues, monitors the technical stability of uploaded materials to prevent possible format conversions or outdated software, which, in particular, ensures compatibility with modern publishing and library platforms;

— availability guarantees:

The Editorial Board of the Journal ensures the interaction of resources with scientometric, abstract and library databases, which allows maintaining the accessibility, openness and scientific value of the posted materials. The journal uses stable file formats (PDF/A) to ensure the readability of scientific content, assigns a DOI to each scientific article, which guarantees its finding; adheres to OpenAIRE standards to ensure indexing.

Journal materials in specialized databases (Yearbook website https://almanaprava.org/), the website of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (https://idpnan.org/), the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine of the NAS of Ukraine http://www.irbis-nbuv.gov.ua  available free of charge.

All materials of the Journal issues are kept in open access for all interested persons and libraries at any time, while maintaining the integrity and authenticity of scientific publications.
